This Vegan Cafe Has 8 Types of Dairy-Free Milks: Particle
Can you imagine a cafe where you can choose not only soy milk and almond milk, but also:
fresh brazil nut milk
fresh cashew milk
fresh coconut milk
fresh macadamia milk
fresh hazelnut milk
Rebel Mylk: a blend of cashew, brown rice, coconut cream & nutritional yeast, which has a similar flavour to dairy milk (great for when you’re new to the plantmilk game and are used to the traditional flavour).
That’s what you’ll find at Particle Cafe in Melbourne, Australia, which has a fully plant-based, vibrant and creative menu. Their house-made vegan milks are amazing, and they pair perfectly with their coffee and smoothies (try a cashew or brazil nut latte for a seriously delicious, creamy coffee, or a hazelnut milk chocolate smoothie).
With their co-owner Zac coming from a coffee-centred and barista background, Particle seriously know what they’re doing in that department. Their non-dairy milks foam perfectly on the espresso machine (no sad, split almond milk here), and the cafe even held a coffee making competition earlier this year with some of Melbourne’s best baristas, to show that you definitely don’t need dairy for an excellent coffee.
And the food is equally delicious. Expect to find dishes that are vibrant, wholesome and full of flavour. I’ve visited twice now and loved everything both times. Their smoothie bowls are super creamy and dreamy, and the savoury options leave nothing wanting.
