BEST ETHICAL FASHION SALES THIS WEEK (OCT 13)

From fur-free luxury cosmetic brushes, to the loftiest of sky-high (animal-free) heels, this week is all about glamour, it seems. We aren't going to argue with that!

Call it ‘eco-fashion’ if you like, but I think it’s just common sense.

Reduced prices on Cult of Coquette stunning heels

If you love the classic Louboutin sky-high pumps, but don't want to wear animal bits on your feet, then perhaps check out the vegan shoe brand Cult of Coquette.

Started by Bebe Mehr out of a desire to wear a Louboutin style heel which didn't cost an animal's life, the shoes are entirely vegan - from the PU leather to the blues used.

The current sale includes these specific colours: In black patent leather, white reptile pattern or a gorgeous Azar pink patent, and all reduced at more than 60% off. Until stocks last.

Draped sleeveless jacket. Made in Australia. Was $269. Now $134.50

Draped sleeveless jacket. Made in Australia. Was $269. Now $134.50

Accredited by Ethical Clothing Australia, Cue's Australian made clothes are a mainstay in our own work wardrobes.

Because they produce elegant pieces which are well made from innovative fabrics, their clothes last. And last. And last.

We also love the slightly off-beat take on corporate fashion - like this sleeveless tunic with a white stripe, which adds just a little intrigue in the detail. But it's still classy enough to happily fit into the office.

15% offf cruelty free luxury cosmetics brushes - not an animal hair in sight!

To celebrate their accreditation with Choose Cruelty Free (the most stringent accrediting cruelty-free body around), the luxury vegan furless brush brand is offering 15% off their beautiful cosmetics brushes.

End of season sale : Hackwith - thoughtful clothing made in USA

Yuri top was $155, now $70

Yuri top was $155, now $70

Made in Minnesota by a small team, most of Yuri's easy-wear pieces are only made after being ordered - in a conscious business decision to save wastage.

We applaud this way of thinking, and encourage more manufacturers to be brave and do the same thing. In previous generations, people waited to have garments made up, and perhaps we have lost something of the delight of anticipation in our eagerness to buy right now off-the-rack.

Having said that, this is an opportunity to buy some of Hackwith's items which are ready to go. And that includes this Fall-toned top. Ideal for those unpredictable seasons (Melbourne, we're talking to you ALL the year!) and especially these in-between seasons of Autumn and Spring.
