Clothing Creating Change: Dorsu Cambodia

We love clothes that tell a story.

Each item made by Dorsu is hand signed by its maker, building a connection between the people who make clothes and the people who wear them.

Dorsu's clothes are made ethically in Cambodia, under fair trade conditions.

There is transparency in everything they do, and you can meet the name behind your garment online on their website.
(We did this, and loved feeling the connection!)

Dorsu value slow fashion, producing high quality garments,
in small-scale runs according to demand
- bringing value & sustainability back into clothing.

Their items are made using left over fabrics from larger garment factories,
which would have otherwise gone into landfill.

They also use eco-friendly inks on recycled paper, run plastic free workshops and use chemical-free cleaning products.

And our very favourite part about Dorsu - they use funds from their clothing to educate and support the local Kampot community.

They help to fund the Chumkriel Language School, which offers English classes, computer workshops, agricultural services, and creative arts activities.
It also provides a public library service, and supplementary classes to aid students with Cambodian State School classes.

So much to love about this wonderful enterprise!
