Wearing real animal fur is well and truly on the out, with high-end labels such as Gucci, Armani, Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Stella McCartney and Vivienne Westwood (to name a few) banning it from their runways. They're joined by high street brands like Zara, H&M, The Iconic and Net-A-Porter to show they recognise wearing fur is no longer cool. (Aka it's archaic, cruel and just so unnecessary).

One designer we love who is paving the way in chic faux-fur fashion is Anna Tagliabue of Pelush New York, whose creations are sophisticated, creative and seriously glamorous.

Anna recently showcased 20 of her latest designs during New York Fashion Week 2018, as a collaboration with animal welfare charity Animal Ashram. Here's a little peak into the event:

On the evening Anna said:

I believe in cruelty-free products and that is why I am involved in Animal Ashram’s Penthouse Vegan Pop-Up today. It’s great to showcase my work at this event during New York’s Fashion Week. Pelush is a wonderful alternative for the modern woman in search of glamour, comfort, and the warmth of a plush coat.
